Would you mind introducing yourself? The name is Ria, I'll let you guess my age based on my answers, fair warning - they won't be very mature.
Where are you from, and where do you currently live? I was born in sunny Algeria, and grew up in France, where I currently live.
How would you describe your style of photography? I have a great affinity for colours and landscapes. The idea is to enhance the beauty and unique elements of any place I find myself in. I don't have a definitive style, my photographs are kind of like my mind - all over the place!

When did you first fall in love with taking photos? I have always been an art lover in general, particularly painting; I wanted to be a painter myself. Sadly, I have absolutely zero talent for it... tragic! Not to say photography is second best to me, that's not true, it's different. Let's just say it's a medium that suits my skills better.
Do you have a favourite photography related memory, whether it be in front or behind the camera? I would go through family albums almost every day as a child, and spend time reminiscing about moments I wasn't even a part of. That sort of contemplation, I wanted other people to experience it.
Who/What inspires you to take these wonderful photographs? This is going to sound corny. I want to keep some feelings and moments with me forever, and photography is perfect for that. As humans we tend to overthink stuff and always worry about what could go wrong, we forget the good times easily, don't we? Don't we all at some point come across an old photograph of a random beautiful moment and think, "Whoa, I totally forgot I lived that!" It usually puts an easy smile on anyone's face. Isn't that amazing?
What kind of camera do you use? I currently use a mirrorless camera that's perfect for travelling. Its name is Ansel and it's an Olympus OMD EM10 II, aka my best buddy.
What is your editing process like? I use Photoshop. Adobe has a good phone app as well. I love editing. (This is the moment when all the purists will boo me)
Are there any tips you would like to give to anyone out there who would love to create similar style photos to yours? As I said earlier I do a lot of landscapes. Usually landscape photography is done in a way that makes the space look almost never-ending. That's why most people will tell you to use a wide-angle lens. I choose to shoot landscapes on a smaller scale, showing just one piece of a larger location. So my advice? Go against the tide, do whatever, rules are made to be eff'd.
What are some of your passions/hobbies other than photography? Travel. Loads of Netflix. Space. I'm one of those nerds who wouldn't mind a trip to Mars. Elon Musk, if you're reading this, hit me up.
Do you have any photography related plans for this summer that you would like to share? I have some very exciting travelling plans, nothing set in stone yet. I'd really love to meet with some of my insta-mutuals for a shoot though.
Who are some of your favourite photographers? Whoa whoa whoa. So many. Let me tell you about my current favourite - Nadav Kander. Just go and google this guy if you don't know who I'm talking about, his work is incredible. My all-time photo-hero is Saul Leiter. I like to call him Soul Leiter because his photographs are pretty much a spiritual experience to me.
Are there any photographers here on Instagram that you love and wish more people knew about? I follow a great deal of wonderful photographers on insta, it's fair to say I spend a good amount of my free time drooling over their work. At the moment I'm very much into @itsreuben's work. His landscape shots feel absolutely surreal. I go to @markbroyer for my dose of atmospheric night photography.
What would be your number one dream destination for a photography adventure? Ahhh, I have to pick only ONE? Okay, okay... right now I'm pretty obsessed with Cuba, so... Havana ooh-na-na.
Which time of year is your favourite for taking photographs? Fall. Of course. Also anytime the light, the moment, the feels permit it.
Do you have any upcoming photography trips/sessions planned that you would like to share? I would like to start messing around with film photography this year, we'll see where this goes.
Anything extra you would like to share? Yes! Save sea turtles, use water responsibly, be kind, and click your heart away. Oh, and thank you Hippo Mag.
