Would you mind introducing yourself? Hi! My name is Margot. I’m eighteen years old and I’m French. I started taking pictures with my best friend when we were twelve years old, going on morning walks together. I bought my very first camera just two years ago! I love honey and I eat a lot of it while I edit my photos!
How would you describe your style of photography? Eclectic! (sometimes vintage too). I do like taking pictures of my friends but also of the sun and sometimes street scenes, like portraits of skaters.

When did you first fall in love with taking photos? I truly fell in love with photography when coming back from Toronto, where I met inspiring people and took many pictures of the city.
Do you have a favourite photography related memory, whether it be in front or behind the camera? While in Toronto I met Madison Abernethy (@abermaddy) and really enjoyed being photographed by her! Also, I had the pleasure to shoot with two Mexican friends in Coyoacan, México (@sebasdena and @romina.bojorges).
Who/What inspires you to take these wonderful photographs? My friends mostly + the sky when the sun sets and it gives such beautiful colours to everything around you.
What kind of camera do you use? I use a Canon EOS 700d!
What is your editing process like? I like to only keep the pics that I, or my models, like the most. Then I edit either with Lightroom when I'm at home, or VSCO when I'm on the go.
Are there any tips you would like to give to anyone out there who would love to create similar style photos to yours? Draw ideas of what you want your pictures to look like before you take them! I know it may sound weird, but I like to have a previous sketch of what I would like to photograph. Also, don’t be afraid to go out and take pictures late at night, or to use the flash (that way you have better lighting).
What are some of your passions/hobbies other than photography? I like to travel, read & write poetry, draw, and play the piano!
Do you have any photography related plans for this summer that you would like to share? I would like to capture the shimmery effect of this season by taking pictures of fruits and focusing less on portraits.
Who are some of your favourite photographers/models? I’m really inspired by the work of Sarah Bahbah, Marius Sperlich and Li Hui. As for models, I do take lots of pictures of my friends Louna and Mareva!
Are there any photographers/models here on Instagram that you love and wish more people knew about? Nicole Toczauer (photographer) and Lola Audrey Call (as both an artist and a beautiful model)
Which time of year is your favourite for taking photographs? Spring, as everything is bright and colourful and nature is just waking up!
What would be your number one dream destination for a photography adventure? I would have to say either New Orleans, or the beautiful white desert of New Mexico!
