Good Job Joss
Would you mind introducing yourself? Not at all, I’m goodjobjoss a photographer of about 3 years now. For the past year I've been travelling to new places making collections of photos from each place! I’m from a small town in central Florida named Geneva, I’m currently staying here as well. At the time of all my previous collections I have shot everything on my shitty Fujifilm x-M1 but just the other day I upgraded to Fuji’s flagship camera the X-H1.

How would you describe your style of photography? Well, I'd say strangely enough my shots are like when you watch law and order svu season 1 with all the grain and colourful details there are, but at the same time some shots are out of this world I can’t really describe them/ put a style to them.
When did you first fall in love with taking photos? While in my senior year of high school I was about to fail if I didn’t take another elective so I chose to do online photography. Little did I know after a couple of classes of it I loved it.
Do you have a favourite photography related memory, whether it be in front or behind the camera? Honestly I don’t tend to remember the past all that well but I went to N.C awhile back. I had a point and shoot and it was my first time out of the state without any parental supervision so I’ll never forget those times.
What inspires your photography? Well, if I want to keep it 100, colour really inspires me, just the thought of mixing so many different varieties of colours in a shot push me to keep going. Plus travelling, when I get to travel I learn/remember so much about myself and I learn so much about the world around me.
What's your editing process like? When I’m about to edit I turn on some jams like the doors or Bob Marley or even Bob Dylan and I let the music influence how each shot will be edited. Sometimes I spend over an hour on 3-4 shots just cause I want it perfect as can be.
Who are some of your favourite photographers? I’m terrible with remembering but I do love Bruce Gildan's work, he inspires me to go out and shoot and not give a fuck about anything else.
What would be your number one dream destination for a photography adventure? Right now I really want to go to Paris, I want to shoot the tower, the streets, the buildings, the people and the culture. I can already imagine all the interesting shots I could come out with! I plan to go by next year!
Which time of year is your favourite for taking photographs? Honestly, I don’t have a favourite time of year to shoot, I just like shooting during times that challenge my skills to grow. Like shooting in Chicago during cold winters, I just like to be challenged.
The coolest place you've ever been? I haven’t been to the coolest place yet but Chicago is awesome it’s so futuristic and everything is huge! I couldn’t get enough of it!
Do you have any upcoming photography trips/sessions that you would like to share? Actually yes! I’m heading out to San Francisco and Colorado by the end of next month to shoot some more city photo collections! Very excited to shoot with my X-H1 I expect nothing but greatness from those city collections!
Anything extra you would like to share? Umm yea just want to say that it’s never a bad thing to step outside of your comfort zone and jump off the edge! You never know what could be! Greatness awaits all those to challenge themselves! And if you enjoy my work go ahead and stay tuned because I have more planned for 2019!
