Where are you from, and where do you currently live? I am from Paris, I currently live in Los Angeles.
Your photos have such a unique aesthetic to them! Is there any specific way you would describe your style of photography? Colorful and textured close up of landscapes.
When did you first fall in love with taking photos? When I discovered Martin Parr’s work most definitely that was at least 15 years ago.
Do you have a favourite photography related memory, whether it be in front or behind the camera? One picture I took in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We stayed two nights there and the whole experience was kind of weird. The hostess was a bit socially awkward and pretty much attached to her tv the whole time. She had two or three cats maybe and sadly the place was a bit dirty, covered in cat hair and smelling strongly like cat piss. On the last morning I wanted to have a picture of at least one of the cats before we left as I had so far photographed every pet we'd encountered during the road trip. I ended up with a photo that until now remains one of my favourite ever.
What inspires you to take these wonderful photographs? Nature. I am obsessed with textures and nature provides amazing samples of various textures coexisting together. Plants and flowers are a huge inspiration but I’m also really into caves and mountains these days.
What is your editing process like? It’s 100 % au naturel.
What are some of your passions/hobbies other than photography? Literature, cinema, flea markets and travelling.
Do you have any photography related plans for this summer that you would like to share? This summer I will be going through everything I’ve been shooting this year to sort out the best ones and then I’m going to be in Ukraine and hope to take great photos there.
What would be your number one dream destination for a photography adventure? Japan, hands down. Hoping to go as soon as possible.
Which time of year is your favourite for taking photographs? Spring of course :)
Do you have any upcoming photography trips/sessions planned that you would like to share? Ukraine, Portugal, and maybe Greece as well, so I’m very excited!
Anything extra you would like to share? Don’t think to much about what your doing, enjoy yourself when you take pictures.
